ignition...

Hoy voy a empezar, hoy es
el comienzo del final, el cocodrilo
astronauta soy en órbita lunar.

Y ahora todo es mejor,
la lluvia de asteroides ya pasó,
no fue para tanto y desde aquí:

todo es insignificante, nada es
tan preocupante y el espacio
es un lugar tan vacío sin tí.

Lady, Lady Blue,
sin control, sin dirección,
la luz se fue, ¿a dónde voy?

Lady, Lady Blue,
sin control, sin dirección,
la luz se fue, ¿a dónde voy?

No volverás a ver
la mirada triste del chico
que observaba el infinito
.

Llamando a la estación: perdemos
combustible y la tripulación
se quiere despedir desde aquí.

Dejo esta grabación a falta de
algo mejor, la soledad es un
lugar tan vacío sin tí.

Lady, Lady Blue,
sin control, sin dirección,
la luz se fue, ¿a donde voy?

Lady, Lady Blue,
sin control, sin dirección,
la luz se fue, ¿a donde voy?

Desde hoy no temas nada,
no hace falta ya, todo se
fue con el huracán.

Nada queda de las vueltas
que el tiempo nos dió.
Todo se fue con el huracán.

STOP OPPOSING ISLAMIC CENTER AT 51 PARK PLACE TO UPHOLD AMERICAN VALUESEvery sane person who believes and practice Democracy will support Mayor Bloomberg’s decision to support the construction of Islamic Community Center in the vicinity of Ground Zero. What Mayor Bloomberg is doing; he is simply upholding the democratic values of liberty, equality and freedom of religion.

Those who are opposing the Mosque including ranking Republicans, Democrats, Hindus, Christians, Jews and few from main stream media; are simply doing it for their blind hate to Islam and petty politics. There is no such thing as Islamic terrorism or Christian terrorism or Jewish terrorism or Hindu terrorism. We must understand terrorist have no religion. Hinduism stands for peace, Christianity also talks of peace, Judaism talks of peace and Islam stands for achieving peace by submission to Allah. Basically every religion stand for peace.

How come Unionized US Politicians posing as Republicans and Democrats are forgetting "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
It has been said, “Nero fiddled while Rome burned.” US Politicians are fiddling with this Islamic Center Mosque controversy while the economy burns. These politicians have no feelings for the 20 million unemployed living on assistance and 30 mil under employed who at the end of the day can not put adequate food on the table for their families. Nor they care for those who are loosing their homes. Whole world knows American economy is in the toilet. Democrats still has the sanity to put their hands in this stinking clogged toilet and shout Look Economy is Moving and Republicans are shouting it is not moving too fast! Both parties are doing petty politics rather than looking for real solutions.
The opposition to Mosque which is actually a Community Center. How many opponents to this proposed Islamic Community Center will call a YMCA or YWCA a Church and YMHA or YWHA a Synagogue? By the way there are 8 Churches and 2 Synagogues around ground Zero. So why so much opposition to a Islamic Cultural Center in the same vicinity? So why this Islamophobia?
America is known to the world as the melting pot of all religions and cultures. People celebrate each others festivals with pleasure, be it Christian’s Christmas, Muslim’s Id, Jew’s Hanukkah or Hindu’s Diwali. In America the dress, food, Music, architecture all have the mixture from all the cultures thriving here. According to ancient Sanskrit dictum from Vedas this is the real spirit of Aa No Bhadra Kratvo Yantu Vishwatah (Let the Noble Thoughts come to us from the entire Universe). Americans must rise to stop those who wants to disturb the cultural harmony and peace of America in the name of sensitivity to the location of proposed Islamic Center.
The opposition to the building of Islamic Center near ground zero, implies that Islam alone was responsible for the 9/11 attacks. According to those who are condemning the building of this Center, the nineteen suicide terrorists on 9/11 spoke for all Muslims. Where as the fact is the nineteen suicide bombers didn’t come from Afghanistan, Iraq , Pakistan or Iran . Fifteen came from America ’s ally Saudi Arabia , a country that harbors strong American resentment, yet America invade and occupy Iraq where no Al Qaeda existed prior to 9/11 besides occupying Afghanistan. US government has denied access to the families of 9/11 victim to file charges against Saudi Arabia .

American politicians keep floundering opportunities to do the right thing when presented with opportunities to exercises compassion and empathy. Freedoms are easy to support when they are not threatened or when no angry emotions are involved. Doing the right thing is most admirable when no one is looking or when doing whats right is not popular. Hate and racism is fear, a storm of anxiety, whipped up by the ruling class with the help of media to deflect the masses from important issues.

Its frightening to know many otherwise intelligent people are on the wrong side of this Islamic Center issue. They cant seem to understand how un-American this is, both because of its inherent bigotry and because it gives aid and comfort to our enemies. By this logic, there shouldnt be a church near the Murrah Building in Oklahoma because Timothy McVeigh was a member of the Christian Identity Movement.

History speaks for itself Mahatama Gandhi and his killer Nathuram Godse both were practicing Hindus, Hitler and Nelson Mandela both Christians then Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan and Osama Bin Laden both are from Islam. It is very unfortunate people like Nathuram Godse or Osama Bin Laden have political ambitions for them selves and they presented their ambitions as community goals in the language of religion. Religion needs to be de-linked from both politics and terrorism; we must talk the language of peace, equality, liberty and freedom of religions if we are truly a democratic society.

“Vasudev Katumbkum” an ancient Sanskrit dictum from Vedas teaches us a magnanimous attitude that we must visualizes the entire Earth as one big family. It further says common humanity is more important than our ethnicity or nationality, there should be only love in all hearts as there is one God and we are all his children. All of us ultimately are strangers in this world, brothers %26 sisters to the bone.

Thought

Thoughts are forms conceived in the mind, rather than the forms perceived through the five senses. Thought and thinking are the processes by which these concepts are perceived and manipulated. Thinking allows beings to model the world and to represent it according to their objectives, plans, ends and desires. Similar concepts and processes include cognition, sentience, consciousness, ideas, and imagination.

And what about thoughts of the brave?

The warrior decides

The Warrior of Light holds the sword in his hands. He is the one who decides what he is going to do, and what he will not do in any circumstances. There are moments when life leads him to a crisis: he is forced to divorce himself from things he has always loved.
Then the Warrior reflects. He assesses whether he is fulfilling God’s will or if he is acting through egoism. If separation is really the path he must follow, he accepts it without complaining.
However, if this separation is provoked by the perversity of others, then he is implacable in his answer.
The Warrior possesses the art of the blow and the art of forgiveness. He knows how to use both with equal skill.

UNC Tarheels players cheer on their teammatesCourtney Johnston, Cora Harms, Morgan Fox, Shelbey Bleke and Kaylie Gibson (?)

Morgan Fox is one of the young ladies Ive played volleyball with, in past years, on the Carmichael volleyball court in between matches at the Carolina Classic. Back then, Morgan was a high school junior. She once told me her dream was to play volleyball for the Tarheels - in Carmichael. Well, here she is... in a Tarheels uniform playing for her favorite team. How cool is that?

sixty-twoi decided to take some pics of me and my dogs.
Here are two of them. I have no idea where the chihuahua, Eclair, was. Sleeping probably.
Well, the little one is my baby, Skeeter.
And the big lump laying on the floor is Charlie. He doesnt do much, hes a worthless dog, but probably one of the best dogs ive ever had.
I think he stayed in that same position for all the shots.

Today is a lazy, rainy day.
I like it.
:)

edit: i just noticed that my hand tan from my golf glove is still pretty bad even though i havent played in a million years. haha
